Artist's Comments

This was made a while ago as my exam piece for my foundation course, the corset is made from calico smothered with lemon shellac and the skirt is just layers of net folded and tied to a waistband, dyed with tea! This is my first deviation so be gentle!

First of all... the photo itself is gorgeous! I love the skirt, but I can't see much of the corset in either photo. :( that's a shame because what I DO see of it is really great work!

I wish we could see it better, both the skirt and the corset. I love both pieces; I can see the work you put into them. Just fantastic and beautiful.

I didn't think about people wanting to get a better look...silly me! Anyway thank you so much for the comments, I made this about a year ago and from what i remember it took me just under two weeks to make but compared to other people that seems a long time but its only the second garment I’ve made, still learning!
